African Dance and Drums Soiree

 

       
 

As part of our fundraising activities for our computing programming project for children in Mozambique, AZlera is organizing an African Soiree:

Thursday May 1st beginning at 9.30pm @

Verlaine

110 Rivington St (btwn. Essex and Ludlow) in the East Village (NYC)

The main performers of the night will be members of the Companhia Nacional de Canto e Dança from Mozambique. We will have raw film footage from Africa as well as Spanish and Brazilian tunes. The event will have a cost of $25 at the door ($20 if you RSVP before May 1st) and all the proceeds will go towards supporting the project in Mozambique.
