A plethora of communities on all continents live at the margin of 'mainstream' society. For decades, externally developed, intrinsically foreign, solutions have been imposed on them by governments, supra-nationals, and many other organizations, with varied, if limited, success. At AZLera, we believe that the optimal solution for each of these communities' needs can only be developed and implemented from within.

AZlera seeks to establish a new paradigm among NGOs and other organizations involved in underserved areas of the world. We at AZLera believe, above all, in the originality and initiative of the individuals of these communities. Therefore, our mission is to empower young leaders and entrepreneurs such that they can find original solutions, on a local basis, to their local problems. AZLera does not seek to provide answers for these communities, but rather, to locally empower those that can.
